Birthday time!

This post is for Saturday and Sunday because I didn't have time last night. Yesterday was Reagan's birthday party so I headed up to the hospital pretty early to check on how things were going. The major news was that Charli's CPR is down to 10.6. This is the lab that has to be below 5 and it came down from 24 in one day! Now they didn't do any lab work on her this morning to give her a break so the labs will be checked again on Monday morning. They also checked her platelets and they were down to 50,000. Obviously we want that number to go the other way, but I'll take a drop of 6,000 any day over the 20,000 a day we normally see from her. These labs will also be checked again Monday.

Charli (and her mom) have had a rough day today. She's just very fussy because she's hungry. We went through this last week so I knew a day like this was coming, but it's hard to deal with anyway. I'm hoping and praying the labs will come back normal and she can starting eating again tomorrow so this is the only day we have like this.  I took a couple pictures Saturday before leaving for the party. The "Popeye" face  is probably my new favorite picture of her, much to the chagrin of my mother!

Then we headed home to celebrate Reagan's birthday! We want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate with us. I know it was very unorganized but Reagan had a great time and love all of the company and gifts. She had a water slide and, even though it was a little windy and chilly, I think all the kids really enjoyed it! No adult participation this year I'm afraid :). Here are a few of my favorite pictures.

I also found a couple pictures on the camera from the day Charli was born. The first one's pretty funny to me because I know just how strong she is. Can you believe minutes after she was born and as small as she was she was already gripping the blanket and trying to pull it over her head?, She was really already taking after mom and dad saying " 10 more minutes please, don't make me get up and turn off the lights!" The second I found hilarious because I hadn't seen it before and man did I look awful! So sorry to all those who came to visit that night in the hospital.
