Did you just say the h-o-m-e word?

Our new doctor is all about getting us home. I like our new doctor! He got an ok from neurosurgery to go home as long as everything stays stable. While shes still here she will still have an ultrasound every tuesday and we will continue the weekly head ultrasounds outpatient for a while once we get home. Charli's feeds are now up to 40cc, which is over her target, and she's tolerating them very well. She hasn't gained any weight the past two days but she hasn't lost any either.

They did her platelets smear this morning for hematology and they should be looking at that in the next couple days. I would be surprised if we hear anything about that before Monday. Good news is her platelets went from 61,000 yesterday back up to 67,000. She so rarely goes up on her own without a transfusion this a a big deal to me :)

She is off all her iv nutrients and her picc line is out. So since she is tolerating her feedings and her cyst is stable the only thing we are waiting on is hematology. Her main doctor said that is the only thing we are waiting on other wise she would be ready to go home early next week! So let's all pray that hematology can figure something out and this dream of next week can come true!

And Charli has found her hands and was very fascinated with them yesterday.
What? I have two of them!

Peace

Well, since one of her hands has been constantly tucked inside her blanket, it probably is amazing to her there are two of them.
I've been trusting in our Heavenly Father to take care of that cyst. I know he has a plan for it. As for her platelets, I'm praying that the Lord will step in and they will just start rising on their own, giving no one credit other than God.

Love y'all
